Intra-Workout is one of our original products, it does not contain any stimulants but has great energizing effects. The main focus of the our Intra-Workout is its Branch Chain Amino Acid (BCAA) content. BCAAs are the 3 main essential amino acids that are most associated with anabolic adaptions to exercise stimulus (muscle growth after training). These three BCAAs are Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine. Supplementing with BCAAs before a workout can help to prevent catabolic muscle breakdown while strength training. Catabolism is the breakdown of complex molecules into smaller molecules to be metabolized. When training our bodies can sometimes catabolize muscle fibers into amino acids, this occurs in times of over exertion or lack of efficient recovery between training sessions, or, of course, lack of appropriate nutrition.

By supplementing with BCAAs we can help to prevent our muscle fibers being metabolized for energy. The branch chain amino content of Intra-Workout helps to promote muscle protein synthesis as well as inducing glucose uptake into cells, making Intra-Workout a great option for pre and intra workout.

Hydration is a key part of any workout, and our Intra-Workout is designed with hydration in mind. It contains an electrolyte blend, and coconut water for enhanced hydration. Coconut water is naturally high in electrolytes, vitamins and minerals, so its inclusion in Intra-Workout can help to replace those lost through sweat during exercise. Intra-Workout is great product for anyone wanting to get a little extra push out of their training sessions. What does Intra-Workout taste like?

We don't use artificial flavourings and sweeteners, so Intra-Workout's aftertaste can be a bit strong if you're used to artificially sweetened products. This is due to the natural bitterness of the EAAs. The new formula comes in two delicious flavours, mixed berry and orange and baobab! If you prefer a sweeter option, we recommend mixing Intra-Workout with juice rather than water.

Prepare Intra-Workout by adding (2 level + 1 heaped Teaspoonor1 (15ml) Vivo Scoops), add 250ml cold water and mix preferably using a shaker or blender for a smoother texture. Use before, during or after exercise.

If you prefer, you can also add sustain to juice to soften the taste. EAAs have a slightly bitter taste, which can be softened with orange or lemon juice.
