Sinetrol®

  • We have used the exclusive new fat burning citrus extract, Sinetrol®, which has been shown to effectively aid weight loss in two scientific studies.

  • Sinetrol® is a patented synergetic blend of active polyphenolic compounds as flavonoids(naringin, nariturin, hesperidin) and anthocyanins (cyanidin-3-glycoside) from unique Mediterranean citrus selected species: Orange, Red Orange and Grapefruit.

  • Sinetrol® acts as a fat burner stimulating the release offree fatty acids (FFA) from the adipocytes. Sinetrol®inhibits the activity of the phosphodiesterase (PDE) which increases the catabolism of triglycerides from the adipocytes. These triglycerides are then released inthe plasma as free fatty acids and glycerol and thenburnt by the energetic metabolism.

  • In the first study involved 10 people in the test group who were given 1.4g of Sinetrol per day and 10 people in thecontrol group who were given a placebo (no Sinetrol) for12 weeks. The graph below shows that there was astatistically significant (p<0.05) decrease in body weightand body fat in the group who took Sinetrol compared to those who took the placebo.

  • In the second study, 95 overweight individuals were given either a placebo or 0.9g Sinetrol per day over a 12 week test period. The results of the study published in the graph below show that there was a significant (p<0.0001) decrease in abdominal body fat (-9.73%), waist size (-5.15cm) and hip size (-5.17cm) compared to people who took placebo.

  • Crucially, it was found that Sinetrol caused the breakdown and mobilisation of fat which was evident as plasma free fatty acid concentration 10 times higher in the Sinetrol group compared to the placebo group. This strong evidence clearly supports the powerful lipolytic effect of Sinetrol.
