Most ordinary forms of oral Magnesium - tablets, capsules, powders, liquids and even dietary sources are not metabolised efficiently due to tightly regulated absorption controls in the body. Altrient Magnesium Magtein is a liquid liposomal Magnesium L-Threonate supplement which improves memory, enhances the quality of sleep, reduces tiredness and supports healthy magnesium levels. Altrient Magtein is the only type of liposomal magnesium supplement that has been shown to raise magnesium levels in the brain.

Altrient Magnesium contains Magtein which was tested in a randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled clinical trial on subjects 50 to 70 years of age. The subjects who took the combination showed significant improvements in overall cognitive ability compared to those who took placebo. Overall cognitive ability is a brain function score based on the individual's memory (ability to learn and remember), attention, and executive function (decision-making and planning abilities).

Directions

Take 1-2 sachets a day. Squeeze sachet into a shot glass amount of water or juice. It can be folded gently into a yoghurt. To speed up absorption drink on an empty stomach, and wait at least 15 minutes before eating.

Does not dissolve in liquid. Do not blend, process or put in hot water.May induce sleepiness, drowsiness or headaches. Reduce the dosage, consult a doctor, or discontinue use if condition persists for more than one week.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a healthcare practitioner before using this product. If you are prone to low blood sugar levels, it is best to take the Altrient B just before a light meal. Hypoglycemic substances like caffeine should be avoided for at least 15 minutes after taking the product.

You should consult your doctor before starting a supplementation program that includes any form of vitamin C if you have hemochromatosis, any type of hemolytic anemia, G6PD deficiency, known kidney insufficiency or failure, or you are currently taking a blood thinner like warfarin (Coumadin). If you are on prescription medication, we recommend you consult your healthcare professional or pharmacist before taking any Altrient supplements. We also recommend you consult your healthcare practitioner before taking Altrient R-ALA if you are taking glucose lowering medication, or receiving treatment for under-active or over-active thyroid.

Store in a cool, dry place, can be refrigerated. Do not freeze or place the product in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
