Sunita Organic Whole Tahini - 280g
Sunita Organic Tahini is a traditional Greek sesame paste made from carefully selected organic whole (unhulled) sesame seeds. The seeds are roasted to bring out their rich flavour and finely stoneground using specially designed equipment to create a smooth, dark paste. Made using traditional methods, this authentic tahini contains nothing else apart from organic unhulled sesame seeds, offering a simple formulation with a rich sesame taste.
This organic sesame tahini is a versatile spread and a great alternative to peanut butter and other nut butters. It is a good source of protein and calcium, making it a useful addition to vegan and vegetarian diets. Enjoy Sunita Tahini with pitta bread, use it to prepare homemade hummus, or blend it with olive oil, lemon juice and a pinch of sea salt to create a dressing for falafels, cooked vegetables, rice dishes and salads. Natural oil separation may occur, so simply stir the oil back in before use.
