What is the source of the magnesium chloride?

We use a unique combination of pure-source sub-terranean and marine magnesium chloride. All our magnesium chloride is from a 100% natural mineral sources, alternating between theZechstein Sea area of Northern Europe, the Dead Sea area and most recently deposits from the Irish Sea.

Can I use transdermal magnesium during pregnancy?

Transdermal magnesium is perfectly safe to use during pregnancy with no restrictions on dosage levels during this time. While some essential oils are advised to be avoid during pregnancy, those included in our products (with the exception of Basil in Mind Flakes) are classified as safe. However, if you have any concerns relating to your own health, please seek the advise of your midwife or GP before starting any dietary supplements.

Can I overdose on transdermal magnesium?

You do not need to worry about overdosing when using transdermal magnesium. Upper limits are only set when using the product orally, as large doses can have a laxative effect due to it being a natural relaxant. Toxic symptoms from increased magnesium intake are not common as the body eliminates excess amounts, unless there are serious problems with kidney function. However, we always recommend speaking to your GP before starting any dietary supplements if you are on any medications or have any medical conditions.

Directions

Spray between five and ten sprays around the body and massage in well. After a shower or bath is a great time to apply as the skin is warm and the pores are open which aids absorption. Apply anywhere on the body avoiding delicate areas such as the eyes. Reapply whenever needed.
