The nose is a highly effective filter for your body. Once trapped, the tiny hairs along the lining of the nasal passages called cilia work to carry away the impurities to the back of the throat where they are swallowed and destroyed before they have a chance to multiply and cause harm.

Can this be used with other medications?

Yes. Strimar is drug-free and doesnt contain preservatives so there is no known risk of interaction with any other medication. However, in all cases it is best to check with your doctor.

Am I likely to experience any irritation?

Strimar Isotonic and Strimar Baby are purified sea water solutions with the same concentration of salts as the cells in the human body. As such, irritation is highly unlikely. Strimar Hypertonic has a higher salt content than Strimar Isotonic but the solution is still less salty than sea water. A sensation of dryness may occur and should disappear within a few days. Always follow instructions and/or doctors recommendations.

What does micro-diffusion mean?

The unique Strimar micro-diffusion system produces a fine spray of sea water. As the droplets produced by Strimar are microfine, they remain in contact with the walls of the nasal passages for longer, making Strimar even more effective.

Strimar has a unique nozzle that disperses the solution in very fine droplets further up the nose for increased efficacy. Strimar is easy to use at any angle.

• Prime the spray by briefly pressing the nozzle.
• Insert the nozzle into one nostril.
• Press briefly without tilting your or your head backwards or sniffing.
• Blow your nose.
• Repeat in other nostril.

Clean the nozzle after application with soapy water, rinse and dry. Use as often as required or as recommended by your doctor. Store in a cool, dry place and keep out of reach of children. Strimar products can be kept for a maximum of three years after manufacture or until all solution has been used.
