Clearspring hemp oil is made from the highest quality European-grown organic hemp seeds (Cannabis Sativa). These are cold pressed without chemicals to maximise flavour and nutrition. Naturally high in ALA and omega 3 fatty acid, which contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels (2g of ALA a day).

Consume on its own or in smoothies, dressings, and dips. Hemp oil is not suitable for high-temperature cooking as it will lose its nutritional value and has a low smoke point. Recommended for cold use only.

Cold-pressed hemp oil is a great source of both omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids. I particularly like the fact that hemp oil contains a good amount of omega-3 significantly more than some other nut and seed oils such as pumpkin and sunflower seed. These omega-3 fats can be converted by our body into other omega-3s called EPA and DHA, which are important for heart and brain health. Both of these essential fats are also known to help reduce cholesterol levels making hemp oil a great choice in general for your heart!
Hemp seeds are also known for being high in magnesium, some of which can also get through to the oil. Magnesium is needed for energy, our muscles, nerves, and bones; and tends to be difficult to get in adequate amounts in our normal diet.
