Mepilex Border Comfort 10cm x 10cm is a five-layer all-in-one bordered foam dressing designed for the management of exuding acute and chronic wounds. It is suitable for a range of wounds including diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, skin abrasions, traumatic injuries and surgical wounds.

Enriched with exclusive Flex Technology and a Safetac wound contact layer, the dressing combines adaptability with effective exudate management. Its advanced construction absorbs, spreads and retains exudate while the breathable, showerproof backing film helps protect the wound and surrounding skin.

Wound Applications

Suitable for a wide range of exuding acute and chronic wounds, including pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg and foot ulcers, skin abrasions, traumatic wounds and surgical wounds. For dry or necrotic wounds, it may be used with appropriate gels as directed by a healthcare professional.

How It Works

The Safetac interface seals around the wound edges and helps prevent exudate from leaking onto the surrounding skin. The absorbent foam pad captures exudate, while the non-woven spreading layer distributes fluid across the retention layer. Superabsorbent fibres help manage and retain exudate, including when the dressing is compressed.
