Discover the secret to rejuvenated & youthful looking skin. Perfectace reveals the next-generation in skincare solutions. Perfectace Total Fix Face Moisturiser is a unique natural oil-based moisturiser that works to create a lasting, visible improvement to your skin. Proven to help reduce the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles whilst promoting a healthy complexion.
Using a moisturiser on your face twice daily is an effective way to help maintain healthy skin with a youthful appearance. Although peptides have been found to be effective in reducing visible signs of ageing, so to have vitamins, especially vitamin C and its ability to help promote collagen formation. Collagen is necessary for maintaining the structure of skin and is ‘key’ to reducing visible signs of ageing. And vitamin E, for its ability to promote healthier, supple skin. Therefore, when choosing a moisturiser for enhanced skin benefits, choose one containing numerous vitamins.
Because moisturising with ‘any old’ moisturiser is not enough to promote skin’s health. The moisturiser needs to contain the nutrients necessary to feed the skin. This in turn will result in skin being soft, supple and smooth.
But these results can all be hindered by ‘Free Radicals’. Free radical cell damage (or oxidative stress) can cause premature skin ageing. Antioxidants help protect cells from such damage, thus helping to prevent premature skin ageing. Vitamins A, C and E act as antioxidants within the body to help prevent cellular damage caused by free radicals. Perfectace Total Fix Face Moisturiser contains numerous ingredients that are abundant with these antioxidant properties including:
- Wheat-germ oil provides a natural source of Vitamins A, B, C & E
- SeaBuckthorn oil provides a natural source of vitamins A,C & E
- Almond oil provides a rich, natural source of Vitamin B and B5.
- Raspberry oil provides a natural source of Vitamin E.
- Mountain Pepper Berry Extract contains powerful antioxidants‘flavones’ & ‘polyphenols’ which protect the skin from breaking down & ageing
The Total Fix Face Moisturiser formulation will feed skin with the nutrients required to keep skin looking and feeling healthy, with visible signs of ageing reduced, and revealing an everyday radiant complexion you can feel confident in.
Features and Benefits of Perfectace Total Fix Face Moisturiser:
Perfectace Total Fix Face Moisturiser Key Ingredients
Wheat-germ is renowned for its ability to soften & moisturise skin as well as regenerating its appearance. It is a natural way of promoting a healthy, radiant complexion. The beauty of this oil is that it is readily absorbed by the skin, making it an effective moisturiser in its own right. Once applied, it infuses the skin with vitamins A, D, B vitamins, antioxidants and fatty acids. These nutrients moisturise, heal dry/cracked skin, and helps prevent scarring. Most importantly, wheat-germ is a rich source of vitamin E, which helps reduce skin damage, fight free radicals, support healthy collagen formation and maintain even skin tone.
Sea Buckthorn contains over 190 nutrients and phytonutrients, including vitamin C (12 times higher than that of an orange). It also possesses as much vitamin E as wheat germ, three times more vitamin A than carrots, and four times more superoxide dismutase (SOD), an important enzyme that helps prevent free radical damage, than ginseng.
Sea Buckthorn is overflowing with antioxidants like phenols, terpenes, and glucosides; vitamins A, C, and E; beta-carotene; plant sterols; and trace elements such as copper, iron, selenium, and manganese. And these elements help promote skin hydration, elasticity and regeneration. And due to its vitamin E and omega nutrient profile, it may also help inflammatory skin conditions such as acne or eczema. It is effective in all-round skin health
Almond Oil is abundant in Vitamin E, which as previously mentioned is renowned for its antioxidativeproperties.Such properties also help protect skin cells against UV radiation damage – which can also cause skin ageing. Studies have found that almond oil can prevent initial UV damage and even slow down the effects of UV damage once it already occurred.
Almond oil is also rich in vitamins E, A, D and B, which are essential to keeping skin smooth & supple. It is absorbed by the skin with ease and without blocking pores. Almond Oil also contains essential minerals and healthy fats. This dense nutrient profile helps give skin a radiant complexion, moisturise skin, nurture skin keeping it smooth, soft and supple and delay visible signs of ageing by helping renew facial skin cells.
For fine lines, wrinkles and skin ageing, Almond oil helps tighten dull, aged skin reducing the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles. It alsoimproves the moisture levels in the skinhelping skin look fresh for longer. Almond Oil can even help to remove under eye dark circles and puffiness of eyes, due to its anti-aging qualities.
Raspberry Oilis rich in essential fatty acids, namely linoleic &linolenic acids. It also contains very high levels of Vitamin E & A which act as antioxidants. Vitamin A inhibit UV damage and stimulate cell repair whilst vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that reduces skin damage and disposes of free radicals that contribute to skin-ageing.
Raspberry oil is also considered an effective anti-inflammatory based on its high content of alpha linolenic acid and phytosterols. These fatty acids are beneficial to inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis. These fatty acids also regenerate cells and bring moisture to the skin which is required for skin to ‘be’ healthy.Phytosterols also help to repair skin damaged by over-exposure to the sun as well as encourages new collagen production – essential for skin to remain firm & taute.
Maybe most importantly, Raspberry Oil contains high levels of ellagic acid. Studies have shown thatellagic acid reduces the destruction of collagen and inflammatory response, both of which are major causes of wrinkles. Along with its phytosterols, ellagic acid has also been found to protect skin against ultra violet damage which is yet another cause of skin ageing.
Mountain pepper leaf has also been ‘scientifically proven’ to strengthen capillaries and reduce free radical damage, which protects the skin from breakdown and ageing.
Mountain pepper leaf contains two flavone glycosides (potent antioxidants) called isovitexin and rutin, which protect the skin from breaking down and ageing and work synergistically with vitamin C to intensify its antioxidant activity. They also strengthen capillaries and reduce dark circles under the eyes.It also contains a polyphenol called chlorogenic acid, again a strong antioxidant for skin care.
From the forest of Tasmania, Australia, Mountain Pepper Berry Extract is a new, highly regarded anti-ageing, skin care superfood. Its composition providespotent levels of antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, anti-acne and skin conditioning properties. It also works ‘with’ Vitamin C to improve its antioxidant capabilities and promote collagen production.
Studies have found that the ORAC Value (Oxygen radical absorbance capacity) of Mountain Pepper Leaf is around 5.5 times greater than that of Vitamin E and around 15 times greater than Olive Leaf Extract.
In addition Mountain Pepper Leaf contains two flavone glycosides which are potent antioxidants – Isovitexin and Rutin. Isovitexin is a powerful antioxidant that acts similarly to vitamin E and C. It helps decrease free radical damage and as a result, protect the skin from breakdown and signs of ageing.
Rutinalso helps stabilise Vitamin C and works ‘with’ it to increase its antioxidant ability. It’s also an anti-inflammatory and can potentially play an important part in strengthening capillaries which is whyit can help improve the appearance of the delicate skin under the eyes where dark circles & puffiness can develop whilst also promoting good skin conditioning.
Rutin also contains a polyphenol called chlorogenic acid, which also acts as a strong antioxidant for skin care. It’s a powerful antioxidant renowned for its anti-ageing, skin care benefits which is why it is one of the key ingredients in Perfectace Total Fix Face Moisturiser.

Rachel has been trialling the Perfectace Total Fix Face Moisturiser from Vitamin Planet. See what she thinks...Last week, I saw a friend of mine who asked whether I had changed my make up or done anything differently. She thought my skin was looking really good. In fact it was not a change in make-up that had made the difference. A month earlier, I had started to use Perfectace Total Fix Face Moisturiser.
The Science behind Perfectace Total Fix Face Moisturiser
The revolutionary formulation in Total Fix Face Moisturiser contains numerous scientifically proven ingredients to help promote skin’s health and reduce visible signs of ageing. Konczak et al conducted a study titled ‘Antioxidant capacity and phenolic compounds in commercially grown native Australian herbs and spices’ in 2009 whereby researchers found that Mountain pepper leaf exhibited the highest oxygen radical absorbance capacity (ORAC) of all native foods they tested demonstrating the leafs superior antioxidant properties.
The leaf analysis also showed a content of Vitamin E which was 10 times more than that found in blueberries, and 75% of the recommended daily intake of Lutein & Folate were present within Mountain Leaf. It was also found to be a rich source of magnesium, zinc and calcium.
Bae et al conducted a study concerning the ellagic acid which is found within Raspberry Oil titled ‘Dietary compound ellagic acid alleviates skin wrinkle and inflammation induced by UV-B irradiation’ 2010.
This study examined photoprotective effects of ellagic acid on collagen breakdown and inflammatory responses in UV (ultraviolet)-B irradiated human skin cells. From their results researchers concluded that ellagic acid did prevent collagen breakdown and inflammatory responses caused by UV-B and “therefore, dietary and pharmacological interventions with berries rich in ellagic acid may be promising treatment strategies interrupting skin wrinkle and inflammation associated with chronic UV exposure leading to photo-ageing”.
Sultana et al in 2007 published their study ‘Effect of pre-treatment of almond oil on ultraviolet B-induced cutaneous photoaging in mice’ by which they investigated whether almond oil reduced the degradative changes induced in skin from exposure to UV radiation.
After 12 weeks of exposure to UV radiation, the mice were found to have pronounced visible skin changes. Results of the biochemical tests, glutathione estimation, and lipid peroxidation showed that almond oil did reduce the effect of UV light-induced photo-aging on the skin. Histopathologic studies also indicated a photoprotective effect of almond oil on the skin after UV exposure.
Researchers concluded topical almond oil was capable of preventing structural damage caused by UV irradiation and it was also found useful in decelerating the photoaging process.

The Importance of Skincare
The skin is the largest organ of the body. Consisting of three layers, its outer layer is the body’s first line of defence against infection and the environment. In order to help keep this barrier strong, skin must be kept healthy and moisturised. Harsh skin care products can damage the outer layer of skin, stripping essential lipids and moisture. Therefore, undertaking a proper skin care regime daily can help preserve this important protective layer.
Skin constantly undergoes cell renewal, as old skin cells die and new ones form. Skin’s health is influenced by every aspect of life, from what we eat to where we live. Healthy skin is more able to fight against visible signs of ageing as well as heal faster compared to unhealthy skin, therefore skin’s health is of the upmost importance.
But we cannot stop skin ageing. With age, skin loses elasticity and begins to sag. UV exposure also takes its toll on skin, damaging skin cells, accelerating the skin’s ageing process. But a superior skin care regimen of antioxidants, natural cleansers and moisturisers, can help slow down the effects of time and the harmful environment.
As mentioned, cleansing is necessary to remove accumulated daily dirt and dead skin cells. But cleansing can dry out the skin as it removes the skin’s natural oil which retains moisture. Consequently, moisturisers are needed to restore water in the skin and protect it.
When it comes to moisturisers, we are spoilt for choice. Many people nowadays opt for the all-natural moisturisers. These contain an abundance of antioxidants which help fight against premature skin ageing and natural-derived nutrients that nourish the skin – helping relieve dryness and improve elasticity enabling skin to feel soft, smooth and appear youthful. Vitamin E is often included in good skin care products as it helps moisturise the skin. It also maintains elasticity. The type of moisturiser used is important as well. Consider your skin type and how it would react to an oil or a cream. Both provide moisturising benefits, but one may work better for you than the other.
Good skin care requires not only cleansing and moisturising but good habits too. A healthy diet packed full of nutritious foods will help improve skin elasticity. Applying sun protection daily with a minimum of SPF 15 will help to minimise UV damage to skin. Drinking water helps the body to function better, cleans pores from the inside and hydrates the skin helping it stay moist. Maintaining good habits alongside good skin care will help skin age gracefully and beautifully.
